trailer brake controller wiring??????????

ok how do i wire it up?my 95 already has the tow package.i have a controller but no idea how to wire it into the truck

do the 95's have the plug under the dash ?

i know my 96 gasser didnt have a plug at the rear...
bought a t connector @ walmart that was purpose built
for 4 wire trailers.

Look under the dash. You will find a 6 pin plug. Your controller needs to wired to the F81B-14A348-A jumper harness. plug and play.:D

i got it wired up but the light dont come on and when i step on the brakes with a test light on the blue wire there is no power coming out and the light still dont light up.my buddy that gave it to me said i have to be hooked to a trailer for it to work.i gotta change my trailer plug.the trailers we have have the 7 round pin plugs and my truck has the flat blade 7 pin :doh:

Check your fuse box under the hood. I was missing two fuses needed to make the brake box work on my truck, when I put'em in the lights and brakes worked.

my current controller only works when hooked up (and sometimes in the salty winter slush) but the one i had before was always on.
