There is a thread on this forum from September 2005 that shows the installation of a set of Grover air horns from start to finish.

grover is a good place to go when looking for anytype of air horn. We have their horns on or diesel spotter and they are loud. I have a set of air horns off a freightliner semi truck, and they are no where near as loud as the grover horns. I plan on using my old tank and lines with some new grover air horns on my truck. (I used to have a setup on my suburban, evryone knew when I was coming through town)

Horns

When I finally decide to "bite the bullet" I'm thinking about a ship horn. The name of train horn I keep hearing about is Nathan.

Real horns

If youi want real train horns check out Air Chime, they make all types of horns Ships, Trains, Emergency Sirens, Etc... They are not cheap, but if you want the real deal your gonna have to pay $$
