Tranny downshifts at low speeds

Ive been noticing that around town if my speed drops below 35 (after going 40+) my tranny will automaticaly down shift to a lower gear, and it will burp if im on the border of the shift points while maintaining that speed.. Is this soppose to work this way or am I just to use to Gasers that stay in 3rd or OD until you stop and start again

that's the torque converter locking up and unlocking your dancing around the set speed for light/no throttle lockup

to prevent lock out od it moves the lockup a bit higher.

Thats the normal programming on the E4OD. Lock/unlock of the TC around 35-40 mph. Everytime you lift your foot off the throttle it unlocks as well as any tap of the brake pedal.
