This was asked at a non-truck forum I go to - any one know the answer?

"Does anyone know what type of fluid goes in a Borg Warner transfer case on a 94' F350? I just bought this at auction and there is no manual to refer to. Would it use 80/90 gear lube or transmission fluid?"

Mercon ATF

Mobil 1 ATF is great to use. It is also Mercon/Dexron III rated. You get the advantages of a synthetic oil using it.
