If I park my truck then get back in and start it up and put it in reverse, it seems to go right to neutral.

Not a big deal, but...

Did a job for a guy who will trade a tranny flush on my 01 F350, I was thinking of getting some Amsoil, but forget which type???

Thanks.

You may have a problem with the torque converter draining back down to the pan when sitting. There could be other things but I have seen this more than once. At this time I can't remember what I did to fix the truck, maybe it will come to me later.

I'm not sure I understand the symptoms. When it goes to neutral (feels that way) if you leave it alone does it eventually just start moving in reverse, or do you fiddle with the gear shift? Sometimes the electronic gear selector switch down on the tranny can get jarred out of position, and would do that.
