tranny temp install??

can anyone help me out? im gonna do a 3 pod setup and im a little confused about how and where i can access the transmition(e4od) to get an accurate tranny temp??

There's a test port on the drivers side of the tranny case, most guages come with the fitting to use this port.

The test port is definately the place to put it. It'll be toward the front of the trans. From my understanding that it is located immediately as the fluid comes out of the torque converter giving you the highest temp reading possible on these transmissions.
