trans problem.

well I have trans problems again this time I know its internal sounds like it has some teeth missing on the input or something. I think Im gonna put it out and rebuild it but one question I have is will the tcase I have bolt up to and work with a zf six speed? just a route i was thinking about trying to go. I think when my clutch went out it damaged something inside the trans cause it never sounded the same after I put the clutch in. I like the five speed and have no real problems with it but the six speeds are so spendy even used or rebuilt. thanks for the help in advance. Lee

You will need the T case from a Super Duty . The six speed has a different spline.

thats what I figured. well I guess I will fix the five speed. I like it just fine when it works anyway.
