I have a 2021 F350. When pulling a trailer connected to the bumper or 5th wheel hitch I have an issue with the downshift when rolling to a stop. This does not happen every time I stop but when it does, I am pulling a trailer in the tow/haul mode. The downshift happens when the display shows the transmission already in first gear.
I took it to the Ford Dealer and they reprogrammed/updated the PCM on the transmission and felt it would be working normally now. No faults or codes were noted. I still have the same issue and they are puzzled. and asked me to return it so they can look at it again.
Anyone else have this problem or one similar?
