I have a 1997 F-250 that has the E40d in it. The transmission is slipping and needs to be rebuilt. I am looking at all options right now. This is not my only truck so I am not in a big bind with out it. I would like to do a Monster Box or a BTS but I do not know if I can afford it. I had the trans rebuilt locally about two years and 50,000 miles ago. I am trying to get it done and not mess with it for a long time but I have some money constraints(sp). Thanks for any suggestions. :dunno

Where are you located? One of our members has a MonsterBox and is very pleased with it. Of course if you know the BTS name then there is really nothing more to say about Brians trannys, they speak for themselves. Have you heard about John Woods yet? Jon Fabion knows how to make an E4OD stay together too.

I am in Northwest Arkansas, less then two hours from Lead Hill and BTS. I have not heard of John Woods or Jon Fabian but would be interested in contacting them. How do I do that?

i got a monster box in my 95 and well i could be happier if it shifted harder!.its shifts hard now but i like neck snappin tire chirping shifts.ive got about 20,000 miles on it and am happy with it.from what ive read the BTS is a seriously nasty tranny and worth the trip/money for it.

I am proabably going to bite the bullet and go with a Bts but you know how it is sometimes doing something that expensive. Of course if I had done it two yearsa ago I would be money ahead and not having this conversaton now. Oh well.

I just installed my BTS 2 weeks ago. Couldn't be happier. Yes it was pricey with the shipping to the East Coast, but I think it is money well spent. Brian is a busy man but always has time to answer any and all questions you may have. He also told me to call whenever I add more mods so he can guide me through the changes that need to be made to the tranny for the added HP. He seems like one of use, eager to help and not afraid to share his wealth of knowledge!!!!www.brianstruckshop.com

John Woods is in Southern Cal so shipping might be cost prohibitive and Fabioun is in Oklahoma, he might be an option.

Drop him an email here........ [email protected]

I'm still on stock injectors until next week but I couldn't be happier with my BTS tranny, Brian, Cale and the rest of the guys at BTS were great.:sweet I have yet to see a single person say anything bad about their product. It was time and money well spent. Watching them rebuild my tranny and getting to ask lots of questions was a treat for me.

I have an E-mail in to Jon Fabion, I think I have almost talked myself into a BTS, It is closer than the trip to Oklahoma and I might as well go for the one that will give me the least chance of problem. Not bashing Jon with that comment. Thanks for all the input. :D
