Transmission service interval?

What's the mileage interval for trans service? I'm at 18,000 now.

Your owners manual states transmission fluid and external filter replacement should be performed every 30,000 miles.

EDIT: I first changed my trans fluid, the trans pan filter and the external bypass filter at 22,000 miles. I have 73,000+ miles now and will be changing again soon.

I flush mine once a year, which works out to +/- 20,000 miles
