Engine lopes/smokes at idle sometimes

I have a 99 f250, 7.3 with 235k, When at idle, I notice that it starts running rich and begins to lope/smoke? It does it often but not always. Im thinking it could be a injector getting stuck open? What do you guys think it is? And how do I fix it? Thanks in advance :)

are you still running your original injectors if so then that is a likely cause, and/or IPR sticking problem.

Does it do it routinely when hot or cold?

or poor oil pressure..
when was the last time the oil was changed?
was it rated for diesel engines? due to the operation of the HPOP, it needs an anti-foam oil..
