My truck is a 08 F-250 lariat crew 4x4 "loaded" w/7,900 miles.
I had the first oil change last friday, drove it around 100-125 miles then on sunday night the truck lost power and shut off!
the center info said pull over for safety, pulled the oil dip stick and had no reading. when the flat bed showed up and while loading at an angle it started right up. sounds like low oil right?
picked the truck up today and they told me "are you ready for this" over filled oil:eek:??? caused it to shut off, does that sound correct to you:rant??
It gets better while on the high way I noticed a strange drone / vibration noise, when I parked it I noticed a od noise.
reved it up in park and it sounds like internal knocking / ticking noises
and Ideas???:dunno
I just spent a little over $8,000 on lift, tires, wheels, stacks, flares, toneau cover, titan 52 gal tank, etc. I am sick to my stomach, I think I want to burn this thing now !!!

i think there were threads on leaking injectors or orings that lead to fuel draining into the crankcase and causing this problem of too much oil. do a search, i think there were some here or at dieselstop.com
