Help Needed Truck wont start

Changed fuel filters now truck wont crank. There is no fuel in upper filter houseing. I cycled the key several times and it wont fill. Should I poor fuel into houseing?:dunno

Do you hear the fuel pump running when you cycle the key? If not you may need a new pump. The pump is located in the first fuel filter housing. In fact the housing is the pump housing.

Truck ran fine before I changed filter. Only changed filters because water in fuel light came on

Thats why. I dont know what has to be done. But the 6.0 fuel system was designed to shut down if water got in the lines before it could get to the injectors.

Where did you hear that? NOT TRUE! There is no shut off for water in fuel, only the light.

Is there any way to bleed the air out of the lines? fuel pump turns on. I filled upper filter with fuel and when you turn key on pump comes on but there is no action in upper filter houseing
