Hey guys. Since my last post my truck is running great. I put in a couple of new glow plugs, VC gasket, wire harness under the VC, Fuel heater under the filter, and a CPS. I also changed to Amsoil and it smoothed the truck right out. Running like a top thanks to you guys.
BUT....I have another question. I am not up on all this "Chip" stuff to increase power. I pull a (6500#) 24' Enclosed Hallmark race trailer and would like a little extra power. Any suggestions on what to use so I can get a little extra power. When I buck the wind it pulls pretty hard. I dont want too much where I start going through turbo's and things.
:thanks

What about this thing they call, "Edge EZ Module" ? They claim to give 60-65 more HP with a 5 minute install. Anyone have any experience with this or simular products ?

the edge evolution adds a nice touch or if you want more do the edge platinum or just stack them and have a lot:thumbs

Gauges first, you want to know what your EGT's are doing if you plan on any power adding modifications. I cant remember what all you have done under the hood yet either. But an free flowing intake is in order as is getting rid of the stock downpipe. Do those three tasks then start with the power mods. Check your PM's.

I have edge ez it works ok by itself but when it is stacked with another chip the only diff that I could tell was better throttle response off idle and it made it act strange when the cruis was used by making it surge I was able to see the boost gauge fluctuate by about 4 psi under a load or not and it did not do this when it was unplugged, (kinda felt strange when driving) Faras I'm concerned do some air flow mods, exhaust mods, and shim your fpr to make sure you have good fuel pressure and go tony wildman all the way. but if you still want the edge ez I will sell you mine for 200.00+shipping still got the box it came.

Yeah what he said...... You need to free up the airflow and then get a chip programmed for towing.
