some how I feel lighter.......
and anxious, our park power is fluctuating wildy
108-130 volts.
think thats what burned up my micro wave

this one will be installed after the gen and shore power so it will monitor both inputs

i think a big inverter (3000 watts) is next for the sensitive electronics, that are still 120 vac

Reminds me of a trip down to visit the folks in FL, three years back. My cousin has a backyard concrete pad for their motorhome in their backyard. I backed in, dropped, ran my extended shore power cord into her utility room, and plugged into a receptacle.....I blew everything in the trailer and my wife's bedside clock radio and the factory CD/AM/FM exploded.

House was built in the early 60s and the receptacle was a 220V non-current-code dryer hook-up unit that's identical to the 50A 120V ones today.

Trailer was only 2 months old and I'd picked it up at the factory. I called Fleetwood Customer Service and they overnight aired all appliances, electronics (even a new clock radio for the wife) and authorized a battery exchange with a local RV dealer....gratis! I self installed everything in an easy day's work.

But I sure wish I'd had one of those gizmos back then. Something to think about.

i never would have thought about it, till the micro went haywire
then i did some reading and surfing.......
they aint cheap but much cheaper than all new appliances
right now the only 120 stuff we have is the tv, a/c's and micro,
last summer we had a few timesthat the a/c stalled, tripped its reset then tripped the breaker.... now i know why.
but the micro and the tv have no protection until now...., and then the 3k inverter for their two circuits and the deep freeze
