I was curious if the Tuners you guys are running are truly switch on the fly? No stoping and cutting the key off or anything like that. Just cruisen down the road and change the setting? Once I can sale my edge and afford some gauges (everytime I turn around something comes up to take extra money:watchout) I'm going to be looking into a new tuner.

I can change my DP tuner chip at WOT. I don't recommend it but it can be done. I frequently switch programs during normal driving without letting off of the skinny pedal.

Just another Point Of View ?

I can't change my Quadzilla, 50/75/120 hp tuner, On The Fly. But I've found it not to be inconvienent in any way. I just leave it in the 120 hp mode and Keep On Truck'n.

I've tuned in the 50 & 75 modes a couple times but they're just to Doggie for me. Couldn't see a big enough Dif in MPGs to warrant them either.:dunno

Your Call.. But I'd get them Gauges, BEFORE the Tuner :dunno

Yeah that was the plan, to get the gauges before the tuner. My edge has all that on it already. I just hate to give up my handle for the pillar mount and I dont think theres enough room for them to mount overhead(without blocking my rear view). Plus I'd hafta run all the plumbing for the gauges up there.
