turbo surge i guess...

when i stall my truck up and let off it almost does the blow off valve sound. i dunno is it ok for it to do that or is that surging. it will also do it if i do a burnout or launch really hard and let off. i have a ATS housing and WW

i thought you were just supposed to use your stock wheel with the ATS housing? thats what i did and mine works fine

well its not like a all the time problem only when i really stall it hard and let off. i dunno H2E comin next so no a big big issue.

its normal but not good to do all the time.its not turbo surge its turbo stall.sometimes when you hear that noise it is stalling the compressor wheel and can snap the shaft.whats happening is you have built up a ton of boost and when you let off the throttle the engine slows down and the boost has nowhere to go but back out the intakes.
