have you checked the shaft play on your current turbo? i would say that should be the deciding factor.

I would go with the ATS housing, a wicked wheel. I have a wicked wheel with the stock housing and it seems to help alot. I have no more compressor surge, a little bit quicker spool up, and about a 50* drop in egts.

you will need a dial indicator, and you can do it with the turbo installed. i dont know what the specs are for these turbos, but somebody here does.....

saw on another site that Jegs was offering the torbonetics ball bearing turbo for 1300 with free shipping,

Not going to happen... Trust me, if its not gone already it will be shortly:eek:


You can rebuild the stocker and add a 1.00 exhaust housing and WW... this will net you lower EGT's and no surge. The ATS housing will cure surge, but nothing else.
