Turn signals quit

The saga continues...

This morning I'm lane changing and I notice I don't have any turn signals. I have brake lights and e flashers but no signals. Pull every fuse under the dash and of course my tool box is off and guess what's in it...everything...and they all look good. Check the maxi fuses under the hood and they all look good.

Now what? I have no idea what to look at next and I have a 30 mile commute tonight and I'd like to have them back. Guess it's off to NAPA at lunch for yet another test lamp.

I'm thinking that the signal wand on the column or the wiring in the column is where you'll find your trouble.

since you have the flashers and brake lights i doubt its in the column.most likely you need the flasher relay(the round silver thing in the fuse box)you have 2 of them.1 for the blinkers and 1 for the flashers.the one you can see is for your blinkers.directly behind that one on the back of the fuse block is for the flashers,try swapping them around and see if the blinkers work and the flashers dont work.

I just as well have...

it was the flasher...I thought the signals and 4 ways were on the same one. Guess not and I checked the stalk to make sure everything on it worked but...



$12 later, new flasher and back on the road...
