after my last trip with the horses to NC, we were getting 13 1/3 mpg. previously the identical load on the identical route, very similar climate, and traffic...we averaged 14-14.5 mpg. i hadnt paid attention to my mileage for quite some time, this is the first big trip on ulsd that i had checked mileage.

Yes lost about 25mi to the tank around town.

ulsd does have a lower btu output than lsd, so in theory a mpg drop is going to happen.
