I want to connect a cig lighter/charger cup to an upfitter switch. There is only one wire (positive) from the switches under the dash. The cig adapters have a positive and a negative. Do I just connect the negative to metal like a ground?
Awesome. Thank you. After I sent this message I realized that anything you attach to those switches (lights, etc) will have a positive and a negative wire. So I guess they all would just have the negative go to a ground.
