Question Visor Homelink Garage Door Opener.......

My garage door opener would barely work today on the 2012 F250 and then tonight the wife hollers that she heard the door go up by itself. I am scratching my head trying to figure out if the Homelink controller is going bad.

Anyone else had problems like this?

Only if you live near an active Air Force base. Seems the military has first dibs on some of the newer frequencies that are used in the newer controllers. The fix is getting a piece of gear that uses the older frequencies.

Try hitting the RESET on the door opener drive unit..... then go back through the Homelink set-up procedures ??

Yep, we did that and it seems to have worked.......weird.

Yep.. weird. I'm thinking the Homelink gets confused.. so you just basically.... started over ??
