My water pump just went out. So time to change, Looking at the Part number list that JOAT has posted it has the parts to install the international WP w/ filter.
Has anyone changed thiers to this style? And was it worth the headaches, or are there any headaches? Looked on the WIKI files and didn't see where anyone has posted instructions, I also have the 203* thermo. would this matter?
Where is the best place to buy the international WP

This post from a year ago when I lost my pump has some information on the International water pump change-over. Brian listed the part numbers and directions in that thread. I ended up just going with a Ford pump myself since I already had the filter system.

Thanks Crumm, nice post. I suppose I will do some checking and see if I can gather all the parts, I have wanted to install a coolant filter and this might just kill 2 birds with one stone.

I haven't tried that mod myself but seems pretty straight forward.

If you do it please consider taking some pics and doing the write up for the Wiki ;)

I haven't decided to do it yet, I Have found most the parts here in town, But the IH parts guy said my fan would not bolt back onto the IH pump. I have read several old post over at TDS and never saw anything that said it wouldn't work. If that's the case I might have to get with you Joat and do your electric fan mod :) just can't afford all these little problems that have arrived lately.

I am half thinking of selling a kit if I go thru all this hassel of finding every little thing I need, just to help the next poor sole from a few hours of searching.
And yes I plan on taking some Pics and trying to post them.

I have never heard about a hole needed to be tapped or that the fan will not fit.

I have confirmed that the fan will work. Getting the parts and starting today if the rain stops.
