what is the dry or wet weight of our engines?

wondering for a brain fart.

A 7.3 is around 1200 pounds complete. I do not know the exact weight, but it is heavy.

i can relate this to you--a complete idi weighs 1240 lbs--powerstroke about the same???? minus antifreeze!!!!!!!

It should be the same weight or less. I do not have the numbers. Take the engine out of your truck and weight it.

I thought it weighed around 1100 pounds dry? I thought it weighed less than a 7.3 IDI.
