went with MAGNAFLOW!!!

since my walker BTM took a turn for the worse(seperated inside), i got the cat back exhaust from MAGNAFLOW....wanted to go with turbo back MBRP cool duals with the power tube, but i couldn`t pay the 2000.00 cdn for the system.... plus need to by a new stove, wife has been on my case about this...., but i have to keep her happy........from what i have read, they are suppose to be good systems, but time will tell.... ....will have it on by the weekend... ...

has anybody used this system before? any feedback would be great....thanxs


boy does the truck sound ever sweet without the exhaust on. nothing there after the gutted out cat..... ....i swear my truck has the 03 turbo on it....

yep...2 grand, buy the time i pay the taxes, which is in total 14% up here, i was looking at 2 g`s....and too many middle men i guess.... ....that price also was with the mbrp power tube, which isn`t cheap either....either which way it was still alot of coin right now....the magnaflow will do fine for now, just hope it sounds good....

what exactly is this power tube you speak of alex? what if any advantages?

i went with the magnaflow 4" turbo back with cat delete and it sounds good. its not too loud and it has a nice rumble under throttle. I have had it on for about 15k miles or so and it still shines.

A PSD will ALWAYS sound good, unless it's turned OFF.

Bama....powertube is made Mbrp. suppose to go in the downpipe or closet to the turbo as possible. the way i understand how it works, it actually speeds up the flow of exhast when it passes through this tube. which will also help draw in more on the intake side of things. suppose to increase power(about 40-50 foot pounds of torque) i first read about this product in diesel power magazine. they are not cheap, i think around 250.00 US....so is it worth the money.... ....only really way to tell, is have the truck dynoed with it on and off....if you go to the mbrp site, they will have a pic of it in the exhaust section....i did have something similar on one of my atvs. it was called a torque stuffer and was mounted in the head pipe. it did make a noticable difference on the atv, so i don`t see why it wouldn`t on the truck....hope this helps....

BIG TRUCK MUFFLER....it is a cheap exhaust upgrade for a stock exhaust system....which i do not have anymore....
