What color does this need to be?

Just below the chrome portion of the bumper, the plastic has faded to a light gray color. Does anyone know what color this normally is from the factory? I thought about painting it the same color as the grill (the dark metallic gray color). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The truck is white and tan.

Judging by your picture and the color of your truck... I am thinking it is supposed to be the tan color. Mine was that shade of black that wasn't quite black (like the mirrors)... so I painted my grill and that lower plastic portion semi gloss black, and it looked awesome on my white SD. It would look good if you matched your grill for sure!
