Hey Roy Boy those alcoas look nice can you post up more pics of them? Or you can pm about them and the tires ur runnin look good. Wish my dually had some wheels and tires like that.

I would post some pics of the wheels, but they don't look real good close up, they still are pretty spotted from the winter salt season. I didn't have enough time (like a whole day) to acid wash em and buff em out, but I will (sometime).

Tires are Toyo M55 235/85 R16E and they are $$$$ (like $200/each)

For that matter, the wheels are $$$ too :roflmao

i would NEVER EVER use a pressure washer ot steam cleaner on any
paint...unless i was TRYING to strip it off the metal !
nothing beats elbow grease...soap and water...LOTS of water...
and rinse the sponge or wash mit OFTEN while youre washing.

You mena I have been washing trucks and cars commercially for fifteen years the wrong way??? Oh my goodness, what will I ever do?

Check out Adam's Polishes. We had used Meguiars for 15 years and switched to Adams. He has instructional videos for everything you need to know about detailing your vehicle. Awesome products.:thumbs

theres a difference...im sure you dont wash cars w/ warm water
(when its cold out) either...but ive seen LOTS of folks do that too.

some folks dont know the pressure capablities of a pressure washer...
it can strip paint if miss used..and it can damage seals if sprayed
in the wrong areas (forcing water and dirt past the seals).

I dont personally see an advantage in using a pressure washer
for cleaning any car, truck or motorcycle...the pressure might remove
the SURFACE dirt but it will still leave a film (in most cases)...

I believe a more through job can be done w/ a wash mit, soapy water
and a hose...it takes me no longer to wet / rinse my truck with a
garden hose than it would w/ a pressure washer.

bush, i believe what most are saying, is that they do wash the dirt off the old fashioned way, with a soft bonnet or pad to get the all the gunk off, a pressure washer alone will not clean a car of its dirt.

but 90% of all clean-up shops do use a pressure washer to remove the soap and its dirty contents faster and more afficiantly. as for the average home-owner, nope, they all dont have a pressure washer or steam cleaner.

yes, if not used properly, you can damage the paint, but there again, if a car has a professional paint job, that has been done right, a pressure washer can be used at a safe distance of course.

it all boils down to personal opinion, of which we all know that we all have one.
