Hello, new member here. I am also new to the Ford community, always had chevys in the past, thus my question.

I recently got a new to me 2015 f350 platinum. On the dash to the left of the steering column is a small button with a symbol that looks like a circle with a ring around it (like planet Saturn). Behind the dash is a wire bundle with two 16 pin connector, one white, one red not connected to anything.

Any idea what this button and wire bundle are for?

thank you

Picture wasn’t the greatest, hard to see under dash. It’s located next to the trailer tow module, but not connected to it. Just 2 loose pigtails red and white.

Thank you, but not that button. It’s the square one in the center of photo, to the right of the dimmer switch. It looks like previous owner may have added, but it has two 16 pin wire harnesses connected to the back of it that look like a factory Ford harness.

It’s most likely part of a aftermarket tuning module that will connect to the obd port. Button is most likely tune selector for different modes
