Are you talking about dropping the truck of at a shop and getting forged rods, injectors, head studs and gaskets, and a fuel system installed?

You will just have to ask the shop where you are taking it what his labor will be. You may as well have him do the fuel so everything will have a warranty on it.

I've never had that much work done in a shop but a WAG says you can double the price..... 3K in parts is gonna prolly be close to 3K in labor. Im guessing a minimum of 40 hours labor there at $60(?)/hr.

Why the hell did Ford switch to powdered rods anyway? There better have been a damn good reason. I'd much rather get an 00 with the forged and mod the hell out of it.

I'll tell you why, Because they are cheaper to make, i have a 99 with forged rods, and wouldn't trade it for Powdered Metal rods any day i'm pushin over 400HP no prob on stock and can go even higher, but yea it's cuz they're cheaper
to make
