The whole reason I was wanting to do the tc, filter, and gauge was to prevent and watch for tc failure. The reason I wanted to switch the vb is to make the tranny slip less and prolong the life of the existing tranny. Is this feasible?

The tc was shuddering pretty bad today and I think I am going to need to do this within a month, will I be ok if I install a new tc, bypass filter and in-tranny screen, gauge, and flush the tranny (or should I do this before I install the new tc?)
