where is the icp sensor located?

yep i had to replace mine....i sucks i had to remove the turbo and the heat shield on the firewall and boost tubes and intake...because the dang thing is nearly impossible to find and replace.....if i remember correctly...( trucks born before September 2003 the ICP sensor is on the back of the engine as described...trucks born after September 2003 the ICP sensor is located in or under the valve cover close to the alternator for easy replacement).....good luck:thumbs

04's have it sticking THRU the valve cover on the passenger side...
makes you wonder why they moved it (or who the hell thought it
would be a good idea to put it at the back under everything !?!)

look at when your truck was born....before or after sept. 03....makes a big difference....if its before sept you can do it yourself very easy....if its after then if i would take it to the dealer....my dealer said they would replace it for a 100 bucks and after my dad and i replaced it ourselves the 100 bucks was probably the way to go....good luck
