I'm going to start building on my 06 250.. I would like your inputs on the best exhaust systems out there. I do tow a 7000lb boat about every weekend and will be adding intake and programmer. So what do you guy's think is best???
:thanks :burnit

I think they're mostly the same as long as you have a straight-thru muffler. Heard alot of good things about MBRP systems. I personally fabricated a 4" system from the downpipe back with no muff or cat. It sounds sweet. It's just a matter of personal preference as far as sound. I would suggest you get one that has a 3.5" downpipe, as that is a fairly restrictive section.

MBRP...cause it FITS...and they have a REMOVABLE CAT DELETE/TEST pipe
that requires ZERO, NADA, NIL, ABSOLUTELY NO modification to the factory cat...
w/ the test pipe you can bolt in (and out) the factory cat as often as your
heart desires...and it only takes about 15min. (at the most) to remove one
and replace w/ the other.

so say if you ever have to have the truck inspected or need a dealer/warrenty
repair you can climb under the truck 10min before you need to and swap the
test pipe OUT and put the cat back in-line...

Id stay away from an INTAKE...theres NOTHING wrong w/
the stock airfilter & box...it flows plenty.

MBRP minus Cat but keep the muffler, the raspy sound at 2500rpm will get old.

So I see MBRP is sounding pretty good.. I see most are all bolt on so how much real modifing does it take? The other thing is people I've talked to some say 4" others say 5". Performance wise does it make a difference?

This is only hear say and I can't prove it. I have been told that the 5 in will open it up to much and not give you enough back pressure to make the turbo spool up. I went with the 4 in cat-delete Silverline that I got from one of our sponsors at the May ralley.
