Which Transmision Pan - Tran Fuid Flush for 5R110

BushPilot ---- you rock once again --- this is exactly what I was looking for

I plan to finish up the Transmission TOTAL fluid flush this evening

Just purchased the Ford 250 Model Yr 2006 FX4 Diesel 6.0 and going thru it step by step to ensure it has all new best quality Fluids.

Yes it only has 13,300 miles on her
-But it just makes me sleep better knowing that all critical fluids have been changed out and I can begin my own Baseline / Maintenance Records
-Yes changed transmission Filter with Ford factory unit
-I plan to also replace the External trans filter front bottom of radiator area
-Additional suggestions are most welcome and totally appreciated
-As you all know we have an investment to protect

I plan to run this truck for years to come so its money well spent up-front

Also just purchased a used slide in camper --- so my son (Connor -Age 9 ) and my wife can have Connor enjoy & experience the joy of camping

Many thanks as always

in stall an aftermarket trans temp gauge
and an EGT gauge....if youre this anal (like the rest of us)
youll wanna be monitoring the trans temp !

the in-dash/ford supplied tranny gauge is
JUNK & heres the Proof --> ITP Diesel, L.L.C.

Which Transmission Pan ?

BushPilot --- you have me nailed )

However I would suggest for all of us that maintain our investment be labeled as Preventative Maint junkies versus Anal --- but either way doesn't bother me --- just don't call me SUE

Anyway I am currently researching / considering Auterra DashDyno SPD ( Scan Tool, Performance Meter and Data Logger ) combined into an incredible in vehicle mounted Device ( So states the Marketing types )

Your thoughts on this unit ?

make sure from a scan tool perspective its as good
as AUTOENGINUITY....OBDII scan tools are NOT good enough
these days...they must have access to the mfg specific/proprietary
CAN network data.

look over the autoenginuity stuff...if anyone says they cant get
to the CAN data <walk away> and if they say the do read FORD
DIESEL CAN DATA then ask for the list of sensors & tests the
read data from.

AutoEnginuity® - OBD2 Scan Tool - Professional PC and PDA Diagnostics
