OK, everyone come clean, who pigged out this Thanksgiving weekend?

I have eatin' leftovers twice already, and each time it was better than before.

I ate really really light this year. I worked night shift, so I didnt get home till 8 am yesterday morning, wife worked day shift and the kids were off doing whatever it is kids do. So I took a nap and pretty much spent the day alone. Shelby called me at 4pm and said that the rest of the nurses all had brought stuff in and there was plenty of left overs so I drove to the hospital and had leftover smoked turkey in the staff break room.

My family stopped doing turkey years ago. Nobody wants the leftovers. This year we had rack of lamb, asparagus, steamed yams and salad. Last year was steamed lobster with corn on the cob. ;tu

We decided to stop with the Turkey-fest also. It is too much work for a meal. All day to prepare, cook, serve and clean-up for a 45 minute meal?

I fried the Turkey and wife made a couple sides. The two of us had a nice quiet dinner around noon. The baby was sleeping in his crib and the 3 and 5 year olds fell asleep on the couch watching the Macy's parade. Instead of waking them up we let them sleep and enjoyed the quiet. I would say that I ate just enough.
