Howdy All,
I tried doing a search on this becuse I know I have seen it posted but.....couldn't find it. I am looking for the directions for replacing the plastic gears in the rear passenger window. I have the door panel off, but there are several rivets and I am not sure which ones to drill out. In the post I saw before, someone made the comment on taping the window up so it didn't come crashing down. Hope that jarred a memory.
Thanks,
Craig

no need to drill any rivets.when you look at the door you should see 3 dimples,or you will see the motor.drill out the 3 dimples or drill 3 holes above the 3 screws that hold the motor to the regulator.the screws are an 8MM socket, you might be able to get at them with a wrench by reacing inside the door.once you get the motor off there should be 2 or 3 screws on the cover the gear comes out of.remove them and the cover and the gear will come out.put it all back together and make sure the motor works both ways before bolting it back to the regulator.
