windshield wiper problems

anyone had any windsheild wiper problems? mine have been sticking on lately. they come on for awhile then go off. the only way to stop them is to pull the fuse. any suggestions on this problem?
i know if i bring it in its probaly gonna cost me an arm and a leg to fix it.

My book shows suspects could be the Windshield wiper motor,Multifunction switch and/or Circuitry.

my 1992 and my 02 both had the similiar problem, and CHP is on the right track the multi function switch gets loose inside and makes contact when it wnats. mine you had to wiggle teh swith to ge the wipers to come on.
easy fix takes about 45 minutes to pull it out of the colum.

Do yourself a favor and get the multifunction switch. My old pickup did that...(98 F-150) It was about 100 bucks and took 20 minutes to install!! Good luck man!!
