I am going to add an amp to my X and I found the wires that feed the speaker but I do not know which one is + or -. I have searched the net and here but have come up empty. Does anyone know which one could be the positive?

I was told once by an installer that you can take a 9 volt radio battery and put it on the two speaker terminals and if the cone moves outward the positive battery post is on the positive speaker terminal. If the cone retracts the positive battery post is on the speakers negative terminal.

I've never tried it but so can't say for sure it works.

Also I found this:
