I had a 6 month old optima fail a load test. They are free at most car parts stores and cheaper/easier than labor on o-rings r&r.

found the problem. it was the inj. o-ring on the passenger side last cylinder. one ring was ripped. the tech at me work said that one was bad and he was right. i was lucky it was the side i took apart. thanks for the help anyway.

Simular problems

I'm having simular problems, did it run alright once it was started? any other side effects? I'm getting very high fuel pressure during cranking until it starts.
Anybody have any Ideas?
