Won't steer

I got hit in the drivers front bout a month ago, now she doesnt wana steer to the right, turns left fine, but only goes bout a quarter to the right an hits a stop. Theres also a metel scrapping sound whenits turned while not moving and sometimes a pop. any ideas on how to check/fix her myself??

Have you looked for the source of the "metal scraping and pop"? I am thinking that would be a good place to start since the noise is probably related to the lack of turning radius which is probably all the results of the crash.

Check the knuckle, sounds like it might be bent. Also check the gear box at the pitman arm alot of times it'll twist the splines.

crawl all up in underneath there and have someone turn the wheel for you... you'll find it...

ps... tell the wheel turner not to take it out of park and keep their foot on the brake JIC...
