My college roomates father died this past week. He was a real WWII war hero who served in North Africa and Europe in Patton's army.

The obituary doesn't even scratch his military carrier in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was also interviewed on the local news at the out break of the Gulf War.

Star-Telegram.com: | 05/03/2008 | JOHN W. MILLER (1919-2008) Decorated vet fought in WWII

Mr Miller was a VERY strong willed man and after knowing him I have no problem imaging him as a good commander. Reading his book I hear his voice ringing out in every sentence.

God bless him, and everyone else who serves this country. Everyone should have the chance to meet someone like him. Maybe they would appreciate what they have here. RIP Col. Miller. Thank you for everything you done.
