Has anyone seen/used/heard reports about this tire balancing product that replaces lead weights? I now have a lot of scratches on my rims from morons hammering weights on. Im also tired of arguing with tire stores about putting the weights on the inside of the rim. If Ford was able to do it, they should be too.

There is a short video on this site too: here

Ive had CentraMatics on my last 3 trucks. Same principle/consept as this product exsept, the "shot" weight is in a metal tube, on a wheel shaped disk that mounts on yer hub, between it and the wheel. Nothing on the wheel.

I've had very good tire wear and ride from them. As the tire wears the weight, or Shot, compensates for any im-balance.

Don't know how well they (or this) would work wpork on Lifted trucks with Big Tires & Wheels tho...... Seems like this product may be worth looking into for those folks.

:dunno

The concept of a free floating weight is good (although not new, ie. CentraMatics) but stick on weights dont thrill me.
