Don't think so bud, there's a 6% pass rate on the Masters exam. They don't hand them out like they do CDL's.

they have never handed a CDL out to me, cause i dont have one and dont want one.

i'm glad you passed and have one and i am sure that you do your job very well, i guess its the "i can do it and your stupid cause you can't" attitude that turns me off.

The lights look cool, it was a good idea, I was just saying I would have done two things different. That's just my opinion, sorry.

BP I started to post about the fuses in the Christmas light strings, they are there for over current protection for the wire itself. They are usually small fuses in the .5 to 5 amp variety which is still more than enough amps to kill someone so I didn't bother bringing it up. I'll shut up now, I just wanted to post about my concerns in case someone wanted to try this.

Merry Christmas

budro understand...
youd probably cringe at my garage wiring too...your points are
well taken by all & we know you only wanted folks to be as
safe as possible.

big k, i'm sure budro is right.

i had no idea i was taking any chances.

i'm not that dumb. i would never do anything on purpose to cause harm to myself or anyone elso for that matter.

coleman doesn't tell you in the manual to run out and buy any extras before using the inverter.

if i need anything else, then why buy the inverter in the first place?

then what good is it to have? tell me that?

how should i use it in the future?

The invertor itself is fine if:

You're parked, unless you change the 12V leads then it could be permanatly installed.

I can't tell from the picture because the Christmas lights are plugged in, but I'm assuming it has a three prong outlet. If so Then It can be safely used with any three prong device and cord. If you're using anything with a two wire setup other than a PC, TV, etc I would use a GFCI.
