Hello everyone I am new to the world of diesels and I have a 2010 6.4l that is just shy of 100K miles linving in Alaska. Recently I got a code for open circut glow plug #1. I have been looking at replacement but I am confuased by this " ZD-15 has been Superseded To Part Number: ZD152" yet no one is stocking the newer part number and it is twice the cost of the old ZD-15. Can some one explain what the differeance is and should I order the newer ZD-152 or just stay with the old ZD-15
I have a 6.4 just use the zd-15. I’ve never heard of using anything else. Once you get the open circuit don’t drive replace ASAP. change the oil often if you have the dpf. I recommend deleting it personally. Any other questions feel free to ask. I love my 6.4 I tuned with 5” exhaust it and it is great.
