    Yeah the coolant level keeps falling and it keeps getting in the oil. I changed the head gaskets and the oil cooler gaskets as well as the o-rings in the cooler.     When I tor the heads off i didn't see any signs of coolant washing out the cylinders. All cylinders looked the same with slight black buildup coated on the head and piston tops. Is there a way to tell the difference between a bad oil cooler and holes in the block when pressure testing? If holes...

    Well, Hello bud. I actually live here in lemoore too. Small world I guess.lol I live off hanford armona road near the hwy 41. where do you live at? I'll change that oil cooler out and see what happens. So you think the internal cores are the problem since I replaced the o-rings already?

    Thanks Dave. I will swap the whole oil cooler out and see if that works. I did live across the bay but recently moved out to Fresno area. I did enjoy the weather there though.

    Hello, I 'm lost with this old engine. I have a 1990 7.3 with water in the oil and oil in the water. I had the heads resurfaced and replaced the o-rings in the oil cooler. Does anyone know of another thing to check or replace?

    Fuel pressure regulater shim mod?

    I took the plug with me to carquest auto parts. They said it was a 7/16. We were able to use a hydraulic fitting and hose. I used a 12" hose that had the high pressure fittings for both the gauge and the 7/16 fitting for the fuel filter housing. It worked well.

    What resistor works well with the Evolution programer set at extreme mode? And will it make much of a difference with a programer on board?

    Clutch replacement

    I'm also about to change my clutch. Is a Valair a good clutch? Or should I stick with a Luk? Some these clutch kits come with flywheels. Is it necessary to replace the flywheel?

    Yeah i put them under the spring inside the brass sleeve. I just over torqued the return line a little to much. All good now. $51 at freedom ford in fresno ca, cured it. I got 70 psi out of the mod and noticed a smoother idle. Thanks for all your help.

    What is that noise?

    on occation, I hear the same noise. I have heard it for years and no problems. It surely is coming from the electric vacum pump over on the right fender wheel.
