    Door Rattle

    I have a 2007 F-350 King Ranch. I have a rattle in the drivers side door. I have had body shops look at it and the said not to move anything. I have had the weatherstripping changed and still have it. Any ideas?

    Headlights

    I know I've got an 07, so were talking apples and oranges, but I went to a local shop and had my bulbs changed out to the bright white LED's and the results were unreal. It was $400.00 for the headlights and fog lights, but the results are un-real! incredibly good!

    Bad battery draw

    I had to change the cable from the battery to the alternator. It was NOT charging but it was draining. Really screwed up electronics.

    Got a 2007 F-350 with the 6.0. I run Royal Purple and put in the stiction eliminator. Have 147.500 miles on the motor and I bought it 3 years ago and it had 55K on it.     I took another step. I went and had the stock muffler removed, and filled the hole with a straight pipe. I love the sound and look forward to seeing if that helps the milage.

    Yes, It seems that back in the day, folks would put 1 gallon of gasoline in 20-30 gallons of diesel to keep the injectors clean. I have been told that it could damage the engine? I have no clue.

    Just an update. Just changed my fule filter today. I had some trash in the housing. I used some cleaner to drain the sil**** (sp) and we will see what happens. I have had some folks tell me on a 44 gallon tank, I should put 1 gallon on good gas in it. I was told that it would damage the fuel...

    I have gone to a bigger tire, 2857516, looks great. I was getting 17 before. I have 135,000+ miles on it, and I need all the low cost options I can get my hands on. Football season is here and I am going to see my son play. When his high school takes a road trip, usually it is at least 3+ hours.

    Just changed my oil and went to Tampa. I got about 15 mpg. That is down for my Ex 7.3 PSD. I use Royal Purple and have a K & N air filter. I might have gotten hold of some bad diesel but I change the fuel filter pretty often. Can anybody give any suggustions? Thanks, John
