Is an aftermarket Allison possible?
IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MY TRUCK (94 7.3L TURBO IDI) TO HAVE AN AFTERMARKET ALLISON? SINCE I know it's not the original tranny....sorry caps. It's no PS cuz the sticker on the motor itself says "International by Navistar" IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MY TRUCK (94 7.3L TURBO IDI) TO HAVE AN AFTERMARKET ALLISON? SINCE I know it's not the original tranny....sorry caps.- chickiepickie

'92 7.3 Turbo IDI...Fuel Filter Light
i meant to say i have the same engine...but different truck year. if it's an international 7.3L turbo...then you have to drain the water collection device. it looks very easy although i haven't had to do it yet.- chickiepickie

7.3 fuel mileage question
Remove those sh%thole tires :D and drop some 10 ply low rolling friction tires on that truck and you could get 4 to 6 more MPG believe it or not. :thumbs- chickiepickie

Biodiesel percentages??
I have a 94 F-350 and I have been running B99 without any problems...should I be concerned? It is $3.35/gallon here, while B20 is $4.35/gallon, and No. 2 is $3.40....so without hesitation, I have been buying B99. My truck has a stock Fuel Filter Heater on it, so I'm not so worried about...- chickiepickie

Yes, it is an early 94 delivered on 1.1.94 ... the engine says "international by navistar" or something. my original question was more like, "does allison make transmissions for Ford models? I thought they were just for GM?" And also, is the E4OD a Brand Name or just a type of transmission...- chickiepickie

the manual says to drain the water collection device. I have the same truck. if he has a manual for it, there is a nice diagram showing how to do it.- chickiepickie

I just bought a 1994 F350 turbo diesel 7.3L crew cab long bed 4x4 with brand new tranny, new pre-powerstroke, and whole new top end. So, being my first ford, HELP! It has overdrive 4 speed automatic.
