    they will likely fail... i'd just get new ones so i don't have to worry. just out of curiosity... what kind of batteries are they? on edit: more reasons, low voltage can fry things & make starters very unhappy

    what brand were the ballasts? i keep going back and forth on these for my mustang. headlight harness and better bulbs was fine for the truck but the actual headlights make a horrible beam on the car. the kit i have been eying is nearly 300 buck it has a pretty good reputation.

    a lot of the ricer crowd have theirs on the dash or a visor i had read the same thing i think on dps's webpage about it being changed starting sept 1st but thats the last i saw of it. all the new vehicles still have em so i guess its still in effect.
