OK, I have looked the forum over and searched the internet. Maybe I am not looking in the right places, but I just purchased front and rear seats and center console from an 07 F350 SD. They are King Ranch seats. My 99 has the center jump seat up front, which from reading, I do not believe will...
Have to replace the upper and lower ball joints on my 99 F350. I have always heard that Moog was a top runner, but yesterday, my local NAPA dealer said he had a pair that was superior and came with a lifetime warranty. Anyone have any experience with the NAPA brand?
Just want to make sure I...
I thought about that but decided top stick with stock instead. I bought the truck for my son and figure he can do mods when he starts driving and has saved up some money as well. Maybe he will join the forum as well. After posting here and not getting any replies on how to get it out, I decided...
The horn is located behind the inner fender well. It has to be removed to get to the horn. Even if I remove the bolt, I still need to remove the inner fender well to get the horn out.
OK. I have searched and searched and cannot find any specifics. My horn doesn't work and when I replace the fuse and hit the horn the fuse blows again. I have been told that the horn may be fried or the contacts corroded or possibly a short in the wiring. Regardless, I need to get to the horn. I...
Thank you Brandon. I had thought about replacing all the bushings eventually just because of their age, but never thought about them being the cause of the bounce. Much appreciated.
If you don't mind, what type of bushings did you replace with, OEM or poly?
Vertical. It does feel like the front end is a little loose.
My original thought was that the leaf springs might need replaced. I know that is a long shot, but it does have 240,000 miles on it.
99 F350. I have replaced the shocks front and rear, tires rotated and balanced, new front end links, but I still have excessive bounce at about 35 - 45 mph. Can't tell if it is from the front or the rear. Tend to feel it is the front, but not sure. Has anyone else had this problem and if so...
I can't imagine playing for a paycheck, let alone think about striking for more money that I play for.
Can't even think what they might be making if they had a real job.
Didn't check if it was high only, but I did plug it all back together and no problems now. All speeds work and no fading of the rpm's when turning to the right.
I guess I'll wait to see when it happens again and then start replacing parts.
I went out earlier this evening and was getting ready to replace the resistor, wiggled some wires and got in the truck to see if I had removed the correct plug and guess what? The blower was working just fine with the plug I had undone disconnected.
So, I guess I didn't have the correct plug...
