    BP- Yes they put fresh oil in. they offered up 7yr 200k engine warranty. I don't keep my trucks that long so they were kind enough to give me a 5yr 75k maintenence contract.

    they replaced the high pressure fuel injection pump. Everything seems good now. they are offering me an extended warranty on the motor for my troubles. I haven't towed with it yet, but the empty mileage seems about the same.

    Me too. I'll ask when I pick it up tomorrow. They should button it up today and then test drive it tomorrow according to my service guy. I have handled this much better than I thought I would. I was pretty sure I was going to come unglued. I guess we'll see if we have any other issues.

    it is in the shop and they are testing the oil right now. they say ford told them to drain the oil and see how much fuel is in it. sounds like they may be on the right track. I hope they can get it done soon because I need my truck Friday. Thanks for your helpful responses.
