fuel mileage
Since I put "rebuilt" injectors in two months ago I've got between 7.1 and 9.5.:rant ok one hit 10.9 But it ran better with my old injectors!:eek: At least the rebuild company was willing to swap them with new Allient for the difference. Most of that was pulling my trailer...my GVW was only...- Happy J

New Member 7.3 litre International motor
:SDD2 Well my 03 7.3 has 208,000 miles on it and other than some issues I've had due to abusing the WVO it runs great. And I work it hard often pulling 30-50k GVW.:D My 96 7.3 I sold to a friend has about 340,000 on it now and still runs great also. So yeah great motor and looong life if you...- Happy J

Wow! That's alot. I bought them back in May of 2007...list was $205 I payed $160 each with our discount. That's with heat and power but not power extend. I'm sure they have gone up since then.- Happy J

They are just factory '08 mirrors-got them from the Ford dealer. They bolt right on I just needed to do some wire splicing and add a switch for heat. They are very nice mirrors.;tu A little more glass than the older ones.- Happy J

That's right. Here's a link if you're still not sure what we are talking about. Arrowcraft - Dual Wheel Conversions AA-4's They cost about $300. Total for converting to duals was about $1300 plus $550 for the '08 gate with paint and all.- Happy J

ebpv as exhaust brake
I did just what you are talking about on my OBS. Ran a wire to it from a switch I fastened to my shifter. Worked ok but it doesn't have all that much braking power and it takes a few seconds for it to engage. Its better then nothing. But on my 2003 7.3 I installed the BD brake. Much better...- Happy J

Actually Stephen unlike Roy's they did come from the factory shortbed with a crewcab. But there aren't to many of them. Maybe someone else has a beige one??? So maybe the only one in the world (that we know of).:dunno No Red, we are just starting a famliy of short bed duallys. Not a...- Happy J

Ok I did it. Made my SRW into a DRW. I love it-wish I had done it sooner(of course) Bought a used DRW axle, fenders, and wheels from a '99 that was being parted out. (Thanks to hotrodhauler.) Axle fit perfect. Fenders needed some repair and painting. Installing them was not to hard either. For...- Happy J

left bank (2, 4, 6, 8) not working
Yeah I would agree its prolly the UVCH for that side of the head. On the 96' I use to own I had both of the harnesses go out within a few months of each other. Not had to replace. If I remember right its intergrated in the valve cover gasket...just have to remove the cover and unplug each...- Happy J

Yes, I have now been to Texas! First time for me. Enjoyed it. Picked up this load a couple weeks ago. The bottom one is my new trailer. GVW is just over #30,000 on this load....Yes and I made it all the way back to Wisconsin!;tu- Happy J
